	crystal catacombs - 1 Viewing Located underneath the city of Ba Sing Se, the Crystal Catacombs are huge chambers and passageways made out of rocks and crystals. Formerly used as prison cells, the Catacombs are filled with twists and turns. 	great divide - 1 Viewing The Great Divide is the world's largest canyon. It separates Ba Sing Se, and can take up to three days of travel to pass through. Of course, since the terrain is just about has harsh as the weather, many who enter the canyon do not live to get to the other side; often getting lost and dying of dehydration or rock fall.	0	0	No posts have been made on this board.
	refugee towns Various towns that are separated from Ba Sing Se due to the Great Divide. These small villages serve as protection for outcasts not welcomed anywhere else, or simply survivors who wish to avoid the gangs that plague the area all together. Also known as The Impenetrable City, Ba Sing Se is one of the few areas left in the world that holds a significant population. Once the great capital and stronghold of the Earth Kingdom, Ba Sing Se still managed to sustain most of it's population during the wars, and is now home to benders and non-benders of all kinds. The inhabitants live by trading goods amongst each other, but are often harassed by gangs, and as such, most inhabitants belong to either the Red Horizons or 10Bellow in order to avoid conflict.
