Located on an island in the South Sea, the Patola Mountain Range houses the Southern Air Temple. The mountains consist of massive, angular peaks, so tall that the only practical way of reaching the summit is by airbison. Of course, there are a few paths that can be used to climb the mountains, however they are incredibly dangerous and unstable, and it has been known to take weeks just to reach top.
