Various towns that are separated from Ba Sing Se due to the Great Divide. These small villages serve as protection for outcasts not welcomed anywhere else, or simply survivors who wish to avoid the gangs that plague the area all together. Although the area is typically left alone by gangs, the people who live there must suffer in extreme poverty.
